What Are Juvéderm Dermal Fillers?

Juvéderm Voluma XC
Juvéderm Voluma XC is a hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler used primarily to add natural-looking volume to the midface area. Most commonly, this filler is used to reduce the appearance of sunken or hollow cheeks and improve the facial proportions. Voluma XC can restore lost volume in three areas of the cheek: the apex, apple, and hollow. Additionally, this filler is effective in enhancing the definition of the chin and jawline. On average, the effects of Juvéderm Voluma XC last for around 18 to 24 months.
Juvéderm Vollure XC
Another dermal filler in the Juvéderm Collection is Juvéderm Vollure XC, which is most commonly used to reduce nasolabial folds around the mouth, also known as marionette lines or parentheses. Although the effects of Vollure XC are subtle, they do a wonderful job of filling in folds and creases around the mouth and nose. The results of Juvéderm Vollure XC treatment can typically last for up to 18 months.
Juvéderm Volbella XC
Juvéderm Volbella XC is a dermal filler meant specifically to enhance the volume, texture, and contours of the lips. This unique filler helps patients achieve smoother, fuller, more voluptuous lips and adds natural-looking volume to thinning lips. Volbella XC can also smooth out the little lines around the mouth, commonly referred to as smoker’s lines. On average, the effects of Juvéderm Volbella XC last for between 12 and 18 months.
Juvéderm Ultra XC
Juvéderm Ultra XC is a versatile dermal filler that can be used to enhance the lips and reduce the appearance of mild to moderate facial lines and wrinkles. When compared to most other Juvéderm fillers, Ultra XC has a very high concentration of cross-linked hyaluronic acid, which leads to soft, natural-looking results that match facial movements exceptionally well. The results of Juvéderm Ultra XC typically last for between six months and a year.
Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC
Like Ultra XC, Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC is a diverse dermal filler used to add volume to the lips and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. However, Ultra Plus XC has an even higher concentration of cross-linked hyaluronic acid and is also made of a thicker gel. This filler is typically a good choice if you want to make significant enhancements to your lips or soften more severe nasolabial folds and smile lines. On average, the effects of Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC last for six months to a year.
